1) You can nominate your truck or the truck of any forum member.

2) The Ranger, Bronco II, or 1st Gen Explorer has to be posted in our forums with details about it to be nominated. If you want to be considered, start a thread showing off your vehicle.

3) When you nominate a vehicle, post a picture of it, as well as a link to the thread it's featured in so we can all look at it.
You can share a photo by clicking the picture icon and then either uploading a photo of the vehicle or clicking the chain link icon and pasting the address to the image here in the forum. You can get the address by right clicking on the image.

4) Nominations end and voting begins on October 15th.

Winner:

The winner will be announced November 1st, 2024.

The winner will receive a TOTM decal, TOTM banner under their name, and will be displayed in our yearly calendar for the month they won.

A 2024 Truck of The Year will be voted on in December 2024 from the TOTM winners.

I’m going to nominate @sgtsandman ‘s 2011 XLT.

This is based on several levels.

Of course, the truck is just well done and cool. It’s almost 15 years old, and it looks like it damn near road out of the showroom.

It has a high degree of modification, but every detail looks like it came out of the showroom as well. @sgtsandman has the patience and expertise to do his modifications close to perfect. The sun visor, the cowl antenna, all the way down the list, he disassembles what he needs to, makes professional adjustments and modifications, and then puts it back together in a way where it looks like it hasn’t been touched.

On his suspension modifications, he thinks them out, and takes the time to do things correctly.

You all know my junk, but there’s one thing we have in common. I love the fact that it’s completely functional. The radios and antennas, the brackets and racks, etc., are all done to police car or fire engine standards. And it’s my understanding that he uses it in service when the community needs it.
