thanks, i live in sussex county so im about an hr away. the only doubts i have about the snorkel is 1. i dont have anything to make a decent cut in my fender, 2. will 2"pvc pipe work good enough? i mocked it up before and had the truck running it didnt sound like it was starving for air or anything. maybe ill come down there when i swap in a 4.0 and SAS
but where are you guys meeting up so i can google it and find out how long itll take me to get down there. also i told by buddy who has a wrangler, hope thats cool if he comes along. hes not sure if he can make the drive though.

2" is what kenny used, and he has been running it for a while. so thats what i'm gonna use too.

I've built a few snorkels for various applications using 2" abs pipe and have not seen any issues. I think 3" is a bit excessive, factory intakes aren't that big so there is no reason for it. I would assume probably meeting at the wawa at the 70/72 circle but let's see what everyone thinks. I plan on going out before the 21st to scout some new trails.

Mine is 3" and I spent a lot of time making sure all the joints were hidden in the fender, so it does not look like plumbing. 1996. A '97 should be similar under the hood.

hey guys, got my snorkel on finally. but was just wondering what i should do/install/replace on my truck to make it trail ready. u know like things that break often parts i should have with me, anything that should be tucked or waterproofed etc. i couldn't think of what catigory i should post this under so figured id ask u guys since u know the trails im gonna be on.

i can't think of anything myself other then the snorkel, post some pics!!!!!

i didnt get to mind, i spent the weekend replacing axle pivot bushings and radius arm bushings on my truck, i figure they are more important to get done since i already have a cowl snorkel worse case

Axle vents should be extended to keep water out, same for transfer case and auto trans. Good tow points and a strap.

where should i put my tow points? i was thinking of putting some D-ring shackels on my hitch, and i have two tow hooks i took of my old blazer but idk if or where i can put them
