It's actually quite a common process in all types of racing leaf suspensions.

I wouldn't worry at all about that rear axle setup. I'm more interested in the steering. It might just be the angle of the pics, but I don't see how that custom spindle turns to let you steer.

It has a uni-ball in it. That's not a bushing. Another common practice.

I've never seen leafs without u bolts. they're either bolted leafs or links out here. what kind of travel are you getting? are there more specs? shocks, width, hubs, blah blah blah

Front specs-
14.5" travel
4.5" wider per side
fully fabricated control arms and spindle. Spindle uses factory ranger snouts and hubs.
80" track width
8x2.5" saw coilover with 500/650 coils
fox 2x2 bumps
fiberwerx front fiberglass

rear specs-
u-bolt eliminators
explorer 8.8 with 4.10s and a Spartan locker
factory leafs for now and currently no shocks
soon go be fox 16x2.5 dual bypass with a bastard pack
rear bedsides are pulled almost as much as possible haha and I still need more...
35x12.5x15 tires 15x10 ion wheels with 4" bs

Made a quick little bolt on bedcage so I can have rear shocks for now. Needs some gussets and some pretty chingas but I'll do that later.
