i have a 87 ranger 2.9 when i start it in the morning i got to keep hiting the gas to keep it running until it gets warmed up. i have put throttle position sensor on it and it still doesnt want to run until it gets warm then it runs fine. anyone know what it could be ?? thanks

Have you tried an IAC?

Sounds like it's icing and getting stuck, or just not working well. An engine with a bad IAC will idle better once it's warm.
