I Have a 92 explorer sport 4dr. 4.0L. i just did a full width SAS ont the truck and now i am doing a tranny swap from automatic (A4LD) to an FM146 (M5OD later) the trans swap is done but i have no idea what to do about the pedals. i have a 90 ranger extended cab 5spd. donor truck. would the pedals out of that fit in the explorer? i mean, Explorers came factory with 5spd didnt they? so should the pedals just bolt in. (Explorers basically same as ranger)?
Thanks for your input! -Cody

Take the bolts out of the bracket that hold the emergency brake onto the side of your truck and move it out of the way. Then take the clip off of the rod that goes through the brake pedal and attaches to the end of the clutch pedal and shove it out. The first m5od swap I swapped the whole pedal bracket and everything and it took hours. The second time I just pulled the rod out of the bracket and it took less than a half hour. If your truck has cruise control make sure you reattach the black plastic piece back onto your brake pedal you are sticking in or else it won't work anymore
