Not sure if this should be in 'Under Constuction'or 'Metamorphosis'

I'm eliminating all the plastic trims on this thing but there is one area that causes a problem it exposes this mess right behind the rear wheel opening

I've seen guys just weld up the indent from the molding which looks fine but the rockers have such a nice 'hourglass figure' and that mod leaves this area straight, I'm not a fan. So being the perfectionist that I am, off to the wreckers I went and bought pair of fenders just to cut off the heels and welded them on to get this
