This truck is owned buy a customer of mine at the dealership I work at. We somehow got talking about our other vehicles and rangers came up. He just stated that he had a nice 90 ranger, then slipped it in that it had an old eldorado 500ci caddy motor in it!! As you can imagine, I was pretty suprised to hear that, and had to ask him about it. He told me that he swapped it into the bed of the truck, and couldnt drive it in the rain, because the engine was exposed. He sent me the pictures of the truck, and said it was fine to post it up here.

Lets all thank toby for pics of his awesome truck!!!

Here she is!

you see a lot of trucks/cars with the engine in the back and a boat v-drive that are designed to be a "wheely" car

how is that Evan street legal up here....i know it would not pass in Cumberland county...haha but still bad ass

No BS:

I had that same setup in my head for an S10 YEARS AGO, but I had two other things in mind................1. Fiberglass topper with roof vent like ya see on motorhomes, furnace piped to air cleaner for a homemade RAM AIR system.2. Keep the 4 popper in front for weight hooked up to a gallon gas can in the bed, so when ya SPANKED somebodys Mustang/Camaro or whatever, when they wanted to see under the hood, before ya stopped, kill the Caddy, fireup the 4 popper and say "All I gots this lil' 4 cyl!":icon_confused:

Can we say SLEEPER!!!:icon_twisted::icon_rofl:

thats just crazy.....who would be nuts enough to put an engine in the back of a truck?:icon_twisted:but seriously-very nice job,and as pointed out,a toneau cover would make it an all weather machine,though even that is not totally needed.the 460 in my ranger is pretty much exposed to the weather all the time,it seems to do just fine:icon_thumby:

that is really nice. as i said before just add some weight plates in the front and it will keep it down.

put a cap on it and drive it in the rain =)
(must be terrible on gas) BUT WOW! good find 0_0
