I watched this episode on Overhauling years ago with my wife and I was very impressed with what they did to this girls truck. Her sister set this in place by letting the girl think that somebody stole her Mazda truck. Man, did this turn out really nice!!! I was thinking about doing the fiberglass exchange at the time and my wife said it would be fine with her. I never did anything due to my spine, hips and leg damage got worse about three weeks later. If I could do something like this I would!!!! Maybe later on if I get to feeling better I could do something with the help of a buddy. Of course I will have to paint the Ranger and that is not cheap...but it would be nice...lol

Nah, they hopped up the motor a bit but it was the stock V6. It really did sound good with the exhaust system they installed on it. I have tried to find the video of the show but have not as of yet. I have always thought that was one sweet looking Mazda truck. Of course, it looks like a Ranger.
One of our friends just sold her '98 Mazda V6 extended cab last month. She bought it new and never had a problem with it. Just the regular service and tuneup. She took her dogs all over the place in it. She put over 120,000 miles on the truck and it still looked great. Mostly garage kept as well. She got $4,000 from a young collage student who wanted to make a prerunner out of it. Life is good!!!! lol

that is a nice truck and i know it is an illusion but the rear tires look smaller than the fronts. but yea its nice

i think i saw that episode on TLC years ago, if i remeber, they overhauled 2 cars at the same time.

Yes it does look like the rear are shorter, but they are the same size. I did not realize that until you said so!!! lol

You are correct. I forgot about that. I am still looking for this episode. The two sisters were cute looking.
