the birthday bash was a blast. lots of people showed up, a buddy broke his arm pretty bad in a moto wreck, I rolled a quad, some friends ended up coming out and wheeling in the rock pile, mobbed anything with wheels including a bob cat, good times overall.

today I picked up an old xr250 dual sport for 100 bucks time to get 70 mpg! wooooo on the other side of the story, I need to find a spare motor just in case. it needs a few small things, but I wanna make this my lil commuter/super cheap ride.

8 days and no one comes to post?! wtf where did everyone go?! I live vicariously through all of you and your projects... in other news Im picking up another bike this week, looking at a few newer drz400s. gonna start commuting on a bike and park the truck tax return season is hear which means ranger parts! I am hoping to get almost everything I need to sas the truck. at least gears and a front locker and hydro assist.

have to have a vehicle to drive to work while my truck is down so I am getting a bike to ride everywhere plus I can rip around in the mountains on it. I might have enough left over from buying the bike to get my doubler. that will be one more big step closer. I think its still only like 600-700 bucks, then Ill have a doubler and no more chain driven crap, since it will be doubling up to a np205. plus I can twin stick it and have three transfer case sticks in the cab!

hahahaha im plan B. get it?! hahaha... anyways I am for sure getting the doubler kit cause I will have enough left over from buying the bike. ben gonna have low/low! well when I get around to SASing it anyways. Im looking at a 2007 drz400 with like 10k on it, the dude decked it out pretty nicely, and only wants 2500 bucks for it. he races KOH and vorra stuff, pretty stoked to go check out his shop and talk trucks with him maybe he will have some parts I need for my 60s.

if he has anything prerunner related for sale please give me a call.. ive met vorra racers every now and again through craigslist, old timers have all sorts of cool shit in their garage. a guy i bought a spare from had 2 class 8 buggys in his garage.

There is a guy less than a mile from my house that races koh and other nor cal rock racing events. Met him in my tig class at Sierra. Most humble legit guy ever. He even gave me the Hauser fairlead I have on my truck.
