Nor Cal chat thread

thats sick ben, you should def be able to make cash on that.

lol see the problem with 16.5 inch rims that i have been reading about is they have a relaxed bead, and dont have a safety bead, not a problem for road use, butt for off road and lowering pressures, you can pop a bead off way easier, not to mention 16.5 inch tires are harder to find. I wanna get a set of good year military 37s for street tires for my truck when I sas it but I would rather have a lil better offroad tire in the long run.

^^thats what my buddy was saying about 16.5in wheels and why he chose not to run them on his blazer.

That's what beadlocks are for. Just not green.

yeah but no one in our group has those... plus the tires are a lot stiffer if you are running the military treads which is honestly the only good thing about having 16.5 inch rims. so I wanna stay away from them if possible, even tho having 37 inch mtrs for less than 200 a tire is pretty ****in bad ass.

Man I freakin hate it when people sell things out from under me!!! :annoyed: :annoyed:
hahahaha yeah I can do whatever you want. we could put like one letter in each lug hahahahaha make your tires hook up better aaaaaaand let the bitches know yo name.

Hell yeah!!

There was also some areas I wanted to explore up 80, or maybe people here have already explored them. The first is going in Fordyce the eagle lakes way, and turning left on grouse ridge trail. I have seen a few sites talk about the trail, and it seems to be something that most of us could do. Just wondered if anyone had gone out there/ was interested in going out there. I stopped by there on my way home from Reno this afternoon, and there was pretty good snow in the road starting 100' frrom 80 on eagle lakes road, so if nothing else it would be fun and getting in there

I may be up for going with, assuming my truck can make it through. I think your truck is a little more capable than mine. Timing might be tight for me, cause this week has been my extended family "stay-cation", but I should be able to ditch sat night. Abouts what time were you thinking about going? I am super itching to go wheeling some more, before I have to go back to school.

It wasn't anything you did. I found a guy selling a set of FW Dana 44 with flat top knuckles and all for $300, and I told him I wanted them, he said he was in no rush, and when I called him back he sold em... when on Sunday? Isn't several feet of snow a good thing? Lol

i wanna go but my truck has no tcase in it. trying to swap in the twin sticked np 205. i wanna get it all done for winterfest next weekend. snow run next weekend if anyone is down.
dayne i found you a spare tire. its a 35x12.5r15 mud rover 75% tread. do you have a rim for it or do you just want it on a stock spare?
