i just found a better one.. lol. its one in eureka, yukon 4.11 gears, detriot locker, and its an expo axle so 31 spline shafts and disk brakes. all the fab work is done, its already set up for a ranger. thanks though. if it doesnt work out ill let you know.

Make sure everything rotates smoothly, axle shafts don't have excessive in and out movement (a slight amount is normal) and NO up down left or right movement, grooved/warp rotors, excessive backlash between ring & pinion, straight housing, and perches welded on at the same angle.

If it all (hell if most of it checks out) $300 is a steal. The housing and gears are worth that alone.

FYI in case you didn't know, count the ring gear teeth and divide that by the number of pinion teeth...that will give you the ratio

awesome thanks guys. idk if hes a member here, but hes on RF. t5cents is whos hooking me up with this, its his neighbors axle. we're planning on taking the cover off and doing a fluid change before it goes in.
