might have found a couple of compatible motors to swap. so theres one in sac out of an 05 with 94K miles, and theres one in modesto out of an 04 with 68K, calling both yards tomorrow. i want the 68K.

how many rigs are going? I might be down! or maybe ill convince randy to bring his ranger and ride with him.

normally twenty or so. but it gets smaller and smaller every year. it used to be like 2000 all crammed in the river bottoms. we will have the quad down there as well. and just so there is no confusion this is not the actual winter fest. its the poor mans winter fest.

Do you already have a 4.0 in it, or would it be swapping from a 2.9 to 4.0? Replacing the engine could easily be done in a weekend, but having to wire up a swap engine would take some more time. I haven't done a 2.9 to 4.0 swap yet, but I'm sure I could figure one out with a little time.

we are heading out around noon saturday. we are going down to green horn (the river we went to last time). but this time im staying well into the night and going alot more places. the more the better
