I've gone as long as 42 days without a day off but that was out of county fighting fires which is just plain fun. This year I'm filling up airplanes with fire retardant at the local airport. Is boring as hell when we don't have a fire to load for. Too much down time means the captain has time to scrutinize everything we do...

Wait tom is back?! Where you been tom?!

Heard that about working too much. I am on call 24/7 and work basically every weekend so I'm never free to do much. The day I went and rode my quad I still worked. I just learned to live on almost no sleep so my time off is spent doing stuff instead of sleeping. Pretty sure it's only a matter of time till that bites me in the ass tho...

Hear that! My expo is still sitting waiting on the gears. I am going off road g today... on my quad for a few hours. Going down to the river bottoms with a buddy from work. Morg you should take your truck down here!

so with the 5.38s and 2.48:1 t cse and a 3.72 first gear Im looking at a crawl ratio of about 50:1... not nerly low enough for a manual, but would be good for an auto, so should I wait for a doubler option to open up or should I look into swapping into an auto? auto is way easier to build but a lot of work to swap in, doubler well no one makes one any more but supposedly north west fab miiiiiight be coming out with a doubler for rbv this winter. thoughts? oh and doubler will get me up around 120:1 crawl ratio which will be perfect for a set f 40s.
