Hello all I know this is my second post but I have been lurking for a few weeks and finally decided to register. First off my name is Daniel and I recently bought a 1993 Ranger stx 4x4 for a grand total price of $400. I look forward to learning alot from all of you and maybe putting my 2 cents in where I can.

Last date of registration is 2009 I actually believe it was parked in late 2008 due to the clutch going out. currently I am just tinkering with it trying to get harnesses repaired (mice), fuel line, brake lines, shocks, and other safety issues sorted out. the engine has/had a hellacious leak as well as the transmission. I have some work ahead of me and its going to be a slow process because I want stuff done right.

Looks like you got a pretty good body.

I know how you feel about wanting stuff done right. I've found that sooner or later it becomes just the need to have the truck drive-able for me... I swore I would have a nice looking wiring harness after the swap. A year later and I still have a 1 foot around bundle of wires tied up to the driver side inner fender...

I have 3 other vehicles to drive at the moment so im not hurting for drivability right now. 2002 ford f150 2001 ford mustang v6 and my work truck a 2008 chevy 2500hd. we dont even drive the mustang right now sat for about a year and smokes like a freight train. The motor is good as far as i can tell but I cant get it to run for longer than a few seconds at a time. trying to figure out if its a fuel issue or a vacuum issue.
