Hey guys, wanted to say Hi

I will be lurking for a while so I can read up and see if my questions can be answered without any stupid questions from me haha

Yesterday I sold my 2002 Range Rover (loved that truck) and bought a $300.00 1985 Ranger 2wd

Right now I just want to get it up and running, it actually drives pretty decent. Has a slight misfire at idle occasionally :icon_confused:

But, just wanted to say hello

A misfire could be a bad spark plug, wire, point, or even a loss in compression.

Do you know which cylinder it misfiring?

I don't know yet, I need to do some diagnosis. Still too cold outside to want to lay around and check things haha

$300 and it rolls on all four wheels is a score. Just take your time start with compression and vacuum. A good tune up including wires and pcv and check/change all the fluids weather permitting.
