Hey everyone, new to the ranger game. Just picked up this beauty for 1,200

its a '98 xt 4x4 4.0 5 speed steppie with a 4 inch super lift and 2 inch shackle lift.

when i got it, vacuum hubs wouldnt engage so i did the modification found here and it seems to be working great!

anyone else on here from nova?

I took off those fender flares and mud flaps... i think it looks much better with out.

I'm looking to replace the front bumper with something I custom fab, but could use help planning... i want to put a front hitch and winch.

Next thing to do though is get manual locking hubs instead of leaving my mod'd stock ones...

happy trails!
Rob

DAAAAAMMMNN. That is a beautiful truck! Any pplans on a build, or is it staying the way it is? Welcome to the Station Nova.

There's a few things that have to be done before the fun stuff starts like replace the manual locking hubs and replace a few parts around the torsion bars. But plan is to eventually have it up on 35s and to get it nice and wet

Are those 32's...33's?

Aside from the Warn manual hubs, I think you're golden for a while. If you got the skills to weld, the sky's the limit with your Ranger.

I think it's a cleaner look without the flares, but I shouldn't say shit, since I painted mine black and put them on mine, too! :icon_hornsup:

Welcome to TRS! I hope to see more of your truck here. Start a build thread, and it'll be like your online journal diary thing of your truck.

I like the nerf step bar, but the visor is not my taste. Love the color!

My '97 4.0L 4x4 on 9" & 35"'s...
