Ok I think it is time to replace the shocks on my

98 Mazda b2500 with 171,000 miles

I just want stock or close to stock as it is a daily driver and I do not want to spend a lot of money.

Walt else should I look at replacing while I am doing the shocks?
What kind of tools will I need besides normal wrenches and what not? Spring compressor?

I have been trying to read up as much as I can on this so please feel free to point me to other threads or articles on this.

Monroe and KYB offer oem replacement and you won't need any special tools, you don't need a spring compressor when changing shock

Should I spend the money for bilstein shocks? How are shocks sold individual or as a set? I figure individual but wanted to make sure

Are the front and back the same shock? or are they different?

SHOCKWAREHOUSE.COM is where I got my bilstens free shipping and great prices too.

Thanks for the info guys found want I wanted KYB ad jegs.com for a good sale price
