i have a 91 ranger with a 5 spd, i put a new clutch,throw out bearing in it about 6000 miles ago. I have a weird noise coming from the trans, it was there before i changed the clutch but it was very faint. I is really getting loud, i can only hear it sitting still. Once you push the clutch in and put it in gear and start to let out it quits or gets quiet. i have been told it could be an input bearing. Does any one know anything about trannys.
