1995 2.3L 5 speed 160k new clutch. When I'm driving at any speed my truck is making a noise in all gears, neutral included, clutch in or out. It does not stop until the vehicle is fully stopped and returns when vehicle is moving again. Sounds like its coming from right below the cab. The sound does not change at any speed. It sounds circular in motion. I don't believe the clutch is involved. I don't feel like a transmission failure is imminent. Is there a bearing where the yoke enters the transmission? Will changing the fluid help? What are my options?

There is a throwout bearing on the head-end of the transmission that works in tandem (I think) with the clutch release system. If the sound is consistent with vehicle speed rather than engine speed, however, it is most-likely a bearing inside the transmission, probably on the output side. You could try to change the fluid to see if that helps. Manuals aren't quite like autos where you would run the risk of chemical reactions due to old fluid mixing with new and affecting clutch function. As long as you fill the unit to the proper level, can't do anything but help as far as I am aware.
