Noise from front end with a vibrtation

Driving up RT34 last week, the front end started to vibrate real bad around 40 MPH, and I heard a sort of grinding noise coming from the front. I would guesse wheel bearings, anyone ever have this problem on a Ranger? It has over 170,000 miles and the front wheel bearings were done around 70,000 miles.

Yeah, bearings is my first thought too. Check them for side to side and up and down slop and for rotational roughness
