No start

2004 4l 6cyc. Turned key cranked then died. Turned key again- nothing. Towed to ford: “your engine seized “. I don’t think so.
what might it be. No sound with turn of key, except a single click. All lights, horn etc are fine. Ford said they rotated it ¼ turn by hand. ???

Do you have any tools? Put a large socket on the crankshaft pulley bolt and see if you can turn the engine. If you can't, take the starter off. Then see if you can turn the engine. If you can't, they were right, your engine is stuck. It may be the starter stuck though.

Also no idiot light flashing at me…
