Hey there. I just finished revamping the interior of my truck. Pulled the whole dash and so on. Washed it all completely and just finished putting it all back together. Went to start the beast and it does nothing. You can hear the fuel pump humming away, lights go on, check engine light goes on, emergency brake light goes on etc. But turn the key to "start" position and nothing happens. There is a little computer (i assume) in a copperish colored metal box right under the dash drivers side by the ash tray. This happened to get a little wet from a small snow fall we had. I let the whole dash, computer included sit outside for a week to dry out. Was average +10 outside. Anybody have any ideas as to what the problem may be? everything else works in the truck after reattaching all wiring connectors. So i don't think thats the problem. It ran fine before I took it apart.

Are you saying that it cranks over but no start or no crank?

Is it a stick or auto? If it's a stick did you plug in the clutch safety switch?

It doesn't crank. It's basicly what jspafford was thinking. Does what would happen if the clutch is not pushed in. I believe it is plugged in. Could you possible give me an idea of what it looks like. Of course it's attached to the pedal. There was 3 left over plugs, i'm assuming for accessories or other vehicles with same harness etc. Is it a larger plug? like 1" x 3/8"? there are 2 that size left over and one fairly small cylindrical connector right off main harness behind steering wheel vent on left side.

well problem solved guys. appears i didn't plug in the clutch sensor. Silly me. Thanks for the help.
