No speedo or shift

1999 Ranger 2nd 3.0 will not shift and no speedo. Did ohm check from Vss to gem and is ok. Ohm wire from gem to pcm grey/black and was ok. Having truck in drive have .48 volts to over 1 while speeding up from VSS TO GEM. Could not find reman gem so bought used one same thing. What is the output on the gem grey/black wire? Does any company rebuild these gems? Thanks for any help!

Looks like there are two different ways they ran the speed sensor. A RABS system where the sensor goes straight into the GEM, and a 4RABS system where the speed sensor goes into the ABS module first.

It’s is RABS only brake line goes to rear.
