Hello to all. I ve been poking around here for awhile now, finding lots of good info, but now I have an issue.
I'm working on a friends 86/2.9. He thought he had a stripped flywheel, well as it turned out someone along the line stripped the starter bellhousing threads, and then drilled them out off center. Anyhow, got that delt with.
The truck hadnt ran in 2 yrs, bad gas, timing off etc. got it all running, idling ok, kind of high. The other day I ran it for a little while, ran rough and wouldnt idle. Today I took it off jack stands to reach a little better and it wouldnt start at all. NO SPARK with inline spark tester.. Heres what I know replaced all three relays one at a time with a known good relay, no change. I'm hereing the fuel pumps fire up and build pressure, checked pressure good, replaced coil with known good, no change. battery voltage is good, also have 200 amp jump box avail. all connections appear good. The only two things I havent checked are the ecu and the module, and Im not possitive on how to either. So any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Rob
