no power?

when i first try to get goin the truck lags down as if theres no power. after about half a second in perks up and goes fine but you can feel it every time you shift gears a bit of lag getting going..what could this be?

Any codes in the computer? could be tps, mass air flow ect.... pull codes and see what it says.

Clean your IAC (idle air control) valve and also your throttle body.

Be sure to use a proper throttle body cleaner so as not to damage your TPS (throttle position sensor.)

I'm unsure of what cleaner to use on your IAC, some say to use electrical contact cleaner because of a sensor, but I'm pretty sure there's no sensor in my IAC and I just used the throttle body cleaner because electrical contact cleaner is pretty weak for the kind of gunk that builds up in there.
