Need some assistance, I'll try to give as much detail as I can at once.

07 3l v6 bought a/c kit and sensors, had truck improperly filled with refrigerant oil by midas causing a/c to start making noise, went through the warranty on the kit and got a new one (replaced orifice tube), had the system properly charged by a reputable shop. About a week later the clutch refuses to engage. I checked the freon levels which were good, I then did a resistance check on the clutch and came back good, the plug to the clutch gives no power at all, sensor next to the pump has power through both wires, sensor on the accumulator only has power through one wire.

I'm suspicious that it's one of the sensors but I don't want to spend more money on it without being sure as I've already paid more than was supposed to be needed to get the ac going.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

from a 2005 manual:

both the hi and low pressure switches need to be closed. that allows power to activate the AC clutch relay.
when the switches are closed the circuit is connected directly to ground, should not read any voltage then.
a voltage reading on either switch means that switch is open, which prevents the current flow that activates the AC clutch relay. .

the AC clutch circuit is separate from the circuit going thru the switches.

Ok so oM wondering if it's possible the ground cable for it isn't getting a proper connection. Do the sensors have a ground connection on the truck and where could I possibly find it?

Appreciate the help.

again, I'm using a 2005 factory manual, hopefully the AC circuits are the same between 2005 and your 2007.
the AC switches go thru a splice, or 2, and eventually ground at G104 which is located near the battery/front.
several items use that same ground.
