Well, as of today, my household is no longer on dial-up! :icon_hornsup:

The new stuff isn't exactly T1, but its a HUGE improvement over my 28.8kbps!

Just thought I'd share. :D

haha, u were still on 28.8, bet ur like :3gears:now

Now you will get viruses off your porn sites that much faster lol. Just kidding man.

what is this dial up you speak of? J/K I remember when we switched several years ago. Wow i dont even think i could do dial up. That is SLOW.

Congrats!!

I switched to wifi from dial up about 6 mo ago. I still use dial up every once in a while just messing around

Got the computer in 1999 and had dial-up from that point on...it was getting to be an inconvience to do much of anything online.

But now that its here, I don't think we'll be going back (maybe for nostalgas sake...but not likely).

i just switched a little over a year ago, i was surprised that way out here in the boondocks i could even get comcast

Oh man, I didn't know dial-up was even still available. Even my cousin in the sticks of TN has cable...

You think 28.8 is bad? I used to surf the net on a 9600 baud modem. Of course back then I used Lynx to browse the web and it was all text, so it didn't really seem slow at all.
