No lockup??

well i swapped in a 4.0 torque converter in my a4ld and 2.8(low stall). i love the way it turned out, and makes my rig drive so much better. i had a manual t.c. lockup switch wired into the trans. for some reason it wont lock up with the 4.0 converter. everything else is ok. any ideas? trans fluid is in the upper end of the hash marks, and it shifts fine. is it just not a lockup converter? the converter is a pro king from advance from a 92 4.0 ranger a4ld 4wd

You sure you didn't just pinch off a wire when you put the trans back in?

no wires pinched...its d-sparked so i only have the neutral safety and backup lights, i did notice one wire was cut in half, but i dont know how long it was like that or where it goes(looks like it goes to the neutral safety switch), i traced all my wires from the tcc solenoid and everything looks ok. it was too dark for me to get a good look. any ideas on what to check in the am? going from macon to charlotte tomorrow and i'd like to have my tc lockup
