Brakes are goin soft randomly. Sitting at a light start rolling foot goes to the floor, let off, brakes are back. Resi is full and pads are decent... Super stumped on this one. Any one know where to start lookin?

Sounds like what my olds did when the master went out. It would leak down at a stop and you started to roll forward.
If you have no fuid leaks and its topped off with fluid then your master cylinder is probably worn out and the fluid is by passing internaly around the spool. Check vac line to booster and booster also.

Its the maser cyl., I noticed a small amount of fluid on the booster. Thanks again every one. On a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to bleed a new master?

.5 and if you have a vice to hold it for you then even easier. Should come with the two different sized plastic fittings and hose + instructions to do it AND you always have us to help/make fun of you.

Thanks again everyone its done. It seems the more I work on my pile the more I like it...$18 bux for a m/c. Cant beat that and the brakes feel incredible compared to what they were.
