Vehicle is 1994 B3000- car was rear ended and now has no brake lights after the accident.Third brake light out too.All worked prior to accident.
Checked brake light switch 12v across terminals with brake depressed
Turn signals work as well as rear driving lights so grounds and fuse good. Checked #10 fuse appears good.
disconnected connector at the back bumper and applied 12v to Lt green wire and neg to blk and both brake lights light up.
Checked the male pin that connects to the lt green wire on the cab side and got about 11 volts with a prop rod against the seat on the brake pedal.
Plug the connector together and get no lights.
Tried a replacement turn signal switch that was used and included with vehicle at time of purchase. Everything as the same. This was not a known good turn signal switch.
Ideas??? Is there a schematic on the site? I looked?????
