Hi,

I have a 2000 Ranger and when I start the truck the AC blower runs good but no air out the vents or defrost. I shut the truck off for about 1 hour and start it back up and it works good for awhile. Then it will stop and I have to do it all over again.

Thoughts?

Thank you,
Scott

I recall reading that the newer systems have vacuum operated blend doors or something like that...might check that the vacuum line is not leaking, but I couldn't begin to tell you where to look...there is an on-line manual that may help you find the answer or check the tech library if no one else provides a better answer...the on-line repair manual can be found at the following location...

And I found this article in the Tech Library...applies to 97 specifically, but could cover later years with similar systems...
