Hi! I have a '95 Ranger XL. Air (hot, AC, vent) from fan has stopped coming through the dash vents. The fan, heat and AC all work and I can get fan air from the windshield (defrost) vents and at foot level. It's like the linkage to open up the dash vents isn't working. Any instructions, diagrams, or photos to help fix this? Thanks!

You might have something plugging it up. take the vent out and see if there is any crap in there.

It's vacuum actuated. And defaults to defrost for safety reasons.

Check your line under the dash for vacuum, if not check the line near the a/c accumulator under the hood.

Common problems,
Big engine vacuum leak
Broken vacuum lines
Cracked vacuum reservoir
Leaking actuator
Bad switch

It is a fairly simple vacuum circuit, with many parts and connections. It's best you find a diagram.

UrbanredneckKid - That's helpful info, thanks. Looks like I'm diving under the dash, one of my least favorite activities! Figured it was a vacuum issue. Will search for a diagram. If I find one, I'll post for future reference.
