Nissan 3L in an Aerostar??

we had a 4.0 aerostar

I just checked with my bud;it was a 92 Villager with 3L Nissan engine.What vehicles(year/model) had the Yamaha 3L in them?Were they good engines??

The Yamaha 3.0 was used in the Taurus SHO with manual transmission only. Automatic SHO's of the same generation got a 3.2 liter version, then the later generation SHO's used a 3.4 liter V8.

more cylinders for a given displacement has higher volumetric efficiency and smoother power delivery.
