Sorry for the crappy cell pics. First time I've cleaned the truck since taking the racks and everything off

The weather looks exceptionally better there than it is here.

I couldn't stand the way it looked on there lol. I'm trying to keep an eye on CL to find some wheels and a set of 31s

good!
i would look for a 4.10 geared axle too, so u dont bog it down :icon_thumby:

i might try the 31 first before regearing just to see how it is. I have no problems whatsoever with the 235s

ill regear mine first, then im gettin the 31"s
since i feel it a bit doggy with the 30"s and 3.73 gears

I sold it when I was looking for a ladder rack. Wish i would've kept it though. Think I might just get another diamond plate toolbox bc I cant fit my guns behind the seat

truck looks great! I have a 97 2.3 2wd. Right now I am running on stock 225/70 14's. I wanted an AT tire but no one had any- said they are obsolete. I want to move up to 15" rims down the road and would like a little bigger tire- 235's or even 245's. How much would that change my trucks engine/ tranny/ rear ratio? I travel about a thousand miles a week and don't want to screw anything up.

sorry if I am hi jacking the thread.

dont worry, it wont damage anything. going 235/75 R15 wont be a big issue for your current setup. now if u go bigger tires then it would bog down a bit. u wont get the same acceleration, but will gain top end speed.

well your speedo is the only one that will be affected, since with bigger tires it will read a determined speed, but u will travel a few miles per hour faster

Like RSH said, you won't mess up anything, but my personal opinion, I would recommend a 2 inch leveling kit. Thats what I have. 50 bucks on ebay and about an hour to install. Doesn't make the truck 100% level, but it definitely helps a lot.

Shawn_248, do you have a part number something on that spacer you used? your truck looks good without that rack on it.. can't wait to see when you get your new rims and tires.....

I don't have a part number. I just remember 50 bux on ebay. Theyre made from delrin, and came with the stud extenders and everything. I think they're universal for F-150s and rangers.

I really wish I wouldn't have sold my roll bar
