? newer body parts for my 94??

id like to give my 94 ex-cab ranger a more modern look

what body parts bolt up to it ??

and for when i swap the eng. from an exploder i was told i need the core support out of it ...

will that cause an issue with updateing the front end( hood lights fenders , ect. )

also was looking to make it a step side with a roll pan
will it bolt up and will i need to alter the fuel tank of filler neck??

im on a shoestring budget slowly getting all my info n parts together to begin process im married wit kids money redicolously tight...n i have to many dreams for it...

Body Panels, 1993-1997. Anything else "on a budget" is out, you'll need a fairly well equipped shop with fabrication equipment and body work skills.

As for a step side bed, the bed itself and the fuel filler neck should be all you need, might want to check bumper differences, as I've never looked that close to step sides.

I thought a 2000ish swap was fairly common (and almost bolt on) on the 93-97 body? It sure wouldn't be on a budget though.

My understanding was that it would somewhat bolt on, after you drilled out ALL the spot welds on the front clip, and re-bolted the new front clip on, fender supports, core support, everything, along with some spacers for the gaps.

It's similar, but different enough to give you a major headache, and replacing most everything forward of the firewall. Again, that's my understanding of it, even so, not something to/that-should be done on a shoe-string budget.

I've seen Explorer front bumpers on 93/97 Rangers for a updated look. You can also go with aftermarket headlights and grille for a updated look that would cost you less and be bolt on.
