Newer axles to older truck...what are all options?

I have a 94 Ranger 4.0, with the 8.8 and 3.27 gears open diff. The truck has rear ABS and 31" tires. I am not looking to go a bigger tire ever. I'm looking to upgrade to either 3.73 or 4.10, limited slip, and prefer a 100% bolt in swap. I'm leaning towards 3.73 since I do highway driving often. What are my options? The tech library is helpful but doesn't answer my question about a newer axle into a 94. Here's what I've discovered so far: (correct me if I'm wrong)

3.73
1. Swap from a 93-97 Ranger, complete bolt-in. More expensive than #2 and higher mileage.
2. Swap from a 98-09 Ranger, complete bolt in (unsure about ABS brakes?)
3. Swap from a 2010 Ranger, has disc brakes, bolt in but unsure of brakes? Unlikely as they're still rare on the used market.

4.10
4. Swap from a 98-09 Ranger, complete bolt in (unsure about ABS brakes?)
5. Swap from a 02-09 Level 2 Ranger, complete bolt in with new u-bolts and plates(unsure about ABS brakes?)

unless you can do a little fab then getting disc brakes is going to be hard unless you are in tight with someone at the junkyard who happens to come across an 2010. youve already got a good axle size and i assume you have 10" brakes, so it may be cheaper to A.) regear to 3.73 or 4.10 and add a powertrax lockrite, or B.) find an axle in the junk yard with 3.73 or 4.10 trac-loc and swap it in.

You cannot use the front axle from anything newer than '97, but the rear will work all the way up to current. All '93up rear axles will have the ABS sensor.
