Hey my Name is Travis and I'm new to the ranger community.
I bought a 1994 4x4 ranger xlt extended cab 4.0l 5speed for a really good deal because they couldn't get it to run.
I drained the tank filled it with super and some sea foam and it fired up!
But after letting it idle for about an hour total on three different occasions
I got water in the oil, no oil in water though.
So I pulled the lower intake and it was f'ed up! And I figured since I'm that far might as well
Pull the heads.
Everything else looks really good so now I'm back to putting it all together.
So this is me and my journey with the ranger so far.

94 was a good year, you got the better engine, 4wd, TTB, etc.
I believe 93 and 94 were the years Ford produced the most Rangers.
I sure see a LOT of them still on the road.
