I just bought a near mint 2003 Ranger, and have been using this forum to death to read up on things. Lots of good info on here.

Here is the new Ranger, just turned it over to 25k today
Its a 2wd XLT w/ 3.0 Auto.
I just spent the day cleaning and sealing the paint, although its in great shape it has sat outside the past 9 years. Next spring I will claybar and buff.
And just so you know I am not a newbie, this was my Ranger back in the day, always loved the color on this one. Bought it new in 90, this pic was taken in 92 or 93. Its a 2.3 w/ 5sp manual. Short on guts but it was shore perty when she was cleaned up!
Anyway, love the site and I appreciate all the great tech articles. Plenty I want to do to the new one. Some modern Torque Thrusts, a 2/3 drop, BII Rear Sway and upgrade front sway, Stereo upgrade, valance w/ fog lights, Exploder center console and a few other mods I would like to make as I will probably be driving this for many years to come. Might as well make it comfy for me.
