Hey folks,

Im new to wrenching and 4x4ing picked up a 93 ranger with a 4.0l v6, i run 33 bfg K02, and have a 4" lift. Since ive picked up this truck ive been averaging 300kms to a tank (stock) of gas and am wondering does this sound about right, or is there something going on thats sucking my fuel consumption?

Thanks for the help!

Thats 186 miles.

Figure it takes 15 gal to fill (roughly) fromt 1/4 tank

Thats 12.4 MPG. My 460 in my F250 gets 13.

Are you sure the speedo is calibrated for the larger tires?

How much fuel are you putting in to refill? Do the math on that and miles driven each time you fill up. Also check your odometer accuracy as rusty suggested.
