Newbie needs help!

Hey guys first of all gotta say I LOVE THE SITE!!

now for my question though, i have a guy willing to trade me his 2.3 4cyl 5spd '94 ranger splash for my blazer. i think he said the engine has 80,000 miles on it but the chassis has about 120,000 on it. he recently put a new sway bar, alternator and other improvements on it. i want this truck somethin fierce! should i go for it?

i wish i did but i dont.. but its a guy i work with and he's drove it to work a couple times and the body is in great shape (although i wish it wasnt white lol)
