A friend has given me a Range FX. Transmission leak to cooler, looking for replacement part. Also, the bumper/ grill has chrome Pelling off, my question is that grill, or part of bummer. And where can I buy what I need? Parts Number. website etc.

Regards Rich

For the transmission oil leak. Have you identified whether it’s the cooler that’s leaking? Or the hoses to and from the cooler? Or a loose connection? If it’s a separate cooler, those are cheap and easy to find. Try Rock Auto or local auto parts stores for cooler or hoses. If it’s the cooler built into the radiator, you could bypass it and install a separate stand-alone cooler or replace entire radiator/cooler. I pick up oil coolers at the junk yard, occasionally just to have on hand. Easy to get when you walk past a truck that someone has dismantled the whole front end to get the engine out.

For the peeling chrome, we can’t tell unless you post a picture. Thr bumper and grill are separate parts. But we don’t know which one is peeling unless you show us. LMC Truck can be a good resource for body parts, or a junk yard or a place that sells parts to body shops.
