It's nice to find a forum about RBV here. It's taken me a while to see the light but I'm finally here. I was a Jeep CJ fan for a long time. However, a week ago my beloved CJ7 was rear ended (with me in it) by a tractor-trailer. Needless to say my CJ didn't fare too well and I am still a bit sore.
In the garage I have a fully rebuilt 302, 2ea C4 trans, a T18, and a bunker full of Ford parts that were supposed to go into the CJ.
After much research a RBV seems to be my best option. I'm thinking Bronco II as I can find them in original form and not abused. I'm looking forward to sharing ideas and hopefully parts location. My goal is to build a V8 4x4 machine with solid axles. I want to drive it to the trails and not have to trailer it.
Have a good day and happy trails. I will let you know when I find the Bronco II.

Welcome any questios you may have the guys here will hook you up and the tech library is easy to navigate. Just remember pics pics pics when posting your build.
