Not sure how, unless both are 4.0liters and was the engine swaped in?

the engine isnt swaped in yet I wanted to but if I need different wiring Ill order that before I put it in.

Ok now that I understand you want to swap a 4.0 from a '96 to a '89. well you came to the right place, I'm not the best educated when it comes to engine swaps cause i've never done it.
