Well as the title states, I am new to this rangers and fords in general. I work for an Audi/VW shop here in the north suburbs of chicago called Dub Werks. but recently bought an 1989 Ranger single cab v-6 5-speed manual. The carfax was clean at it was an old mans, which from what I was told was drivin very often.
it sits with just under 59K under the odometer, is there any way to tell if its rolled over. the truck is super clean with very VERY little rust, and paint wear for its age.
the rear diff is leaking but thats is any easy fix and all wires, plugs, and belt have recently been replace. but just looking for a heads up as to if there is anything thing I should watch out for?
I did some research and found that the heads seem to be one of the bigger issues with the truck but were redesigned in 89 (however still had issues). but other then that the truck runs great, decent gas mileage. thanks in advance.
