New wiring harness?

Okies, I have a '84 that I'd love to replace the wiring harness in. Obviously the 29 year old wires aren't what they used to be. I've forgotten how many times that they have given me trouble. Is there even such a thing as a new wiring harness for my ranger?

Check painless wiring. They've been mentioned quite habit on this site they may have what your looking for. I want to say they even make custom harnesses.

yeah, the insulation just crumbles. not sure if you can get a new harness, but wouldn't that be the perfect excuse to swap in a 4.0?

Or a 5.0L.

Centech is another one for harnessing, Complete Hot Rod and Jeep Stuff I know but Ranger maybe not.

Ron Francis is another one for Hot Rod harnessing.

Maybe one of the Hot Rod Universal Body Harnesses will work out with a little mod’g.
Most of these guys will work with you so ask them.
