new virus?

ok, so I've heard about several people having this virus that makes your hard drives invisible so the whole computer doesn't work, my computer seems to have come down with this too...

anyone know of any solutions other than buying a new hard drive and starting over?

that doesn't help when I can't get past the motherboard screen... I think I'm going to reformat my windows drive since that's about all that was on that one, hopefully the other two were unharmed...

Can't get into the BIOS? Try popping out the CMOS battery for about 5 minutes and try again.
