just bought a 91 2.3 for my pickup my motor just blew and i think my trani is next i,ve been looking for a tranny but mostly find 2wd, will the 2wd tranny bolt to my transfer case? just wondering please help thanks.

You really have a 4x4 2.3L truck? Lucky. Well, thats tough to answer given the info we dont have. What year is the truck, is it just the motor thats a '91? All i can say is that you cannot swap tailhousings (a 2wd trans is only a 2wd trans, and likewise for 4x4). If the truck is that year you will need a rare 4x4 m50d with the 4 cyl bolt pattern.
