new toy?

hey yall. i wanted a 300ex. my cuz had one and i liked it, it was fast enough and was easy to get on

so i was going to buy one but should i go with the 400ex?
then i thought of the banshee and polaris. i know honda has a good fourwheeler, but whats the thing to get kinda cheap?

my brothers 400ex he had for a short period of time was fun to ride. I have never ridden a 300ex but the 400ex always did anything we asked of it, including survive lots of water, burnouts, wheelies, ridding on the side etc.

You can usually get a EX for pretty cheap. They aren't that powerful though. A banshee would be pretty pricey, but you can modify everything on it and is fairly quick stock. I'd say it depends on how much power you want and enjoy. If you like blazing speed then don't go with an ex, even the 400. Get something else, a raptor, a banshee... or a CR250

A real good al around bike is the trx450r if you want a lil more power the yamaha 450 pulls real strong..

personally ive ridden the 400 banshees and blasters my two main squeezes are an 86 atc 350x and the 450r..

unless its a 4x4 get something you can upgrade. you will think its fast enough when you get it but the more you ride it the more yoiu want to go faster and faster and faster.

im strictly two wheels, but the 400ex is a great reliable quad, my two friends have a 400ex and a raptor 660, i hate the raptor and im a yamaha guy. the 400 never ever let us down

I would go for the 400ex. You can find a decent rig for cheap and there is a lot of aftermarket parts for them. You can also probably find some good deals on a z400 or a kawi kfx 400 too. My buddy has a 400ex with a 440 kit and it keeps right up with my 450r

a raptor is a cautapault machine to much balls for a small framed quad. My family owns a small racing company strictly dirt and i would go with a kfx400 because it has the rezzies on the front and lots of balls 400z is the same thing though only diffrent plastics... but the 400ex is a good quad but if your looking in that type of cc class the kfx and 400z would wreck it in the handling class and their a little faster seeing their lighter. BUT like i always say RIDE A @ STROKE

trx450r, or the ltz400, or the 400ex, there all good quats that can take one hell of a beating, iv seen people who could kill anything in a day, but you cant beat those

also the 250ex is a tough little quad

ive got a 350x three wheeler. it needs a head job but its here

i want some speed but im not going to be out to upgrade everything just the sprokets and little things. i thought of a 400ex but from what i understand they sit up higher than the 300ex, i dont want to climb onto my 4 wheeler (even though im 6 foot).

i like power and speed but im driveng down around fields and dirt roads going 80mph isnt going to happen to often.

i am a honda guy ( ive got a honda quad that gives honda its name) but i do like the banshee. what quad is fast and powerful when its stock?

I had a 400ex....I think it needed more power. I'm 6ft 200 lbs..

I like the 450 yamha better.
