Here's the drill press, I think I got my $50 worth if I find a chuck key in my stash... and there's the mud dauber nest I found, it was dormant... he wrapped the caution tape around the greasy section of the post where the head mounts... since we shoved it in a Camry...

I have something similar but don't have the center pulley or slotted table.
is the center pulley spring loaded? I have a hole there and it would be nice to have a quick change setup.

No, it's just on a pivot and both belts are tensioned by prying the motor away from the head, very simple setup but the 16 speed was DEFINITELY the selling point, I literally didn't even look at it before I threw out the $50 offer thinking he'd balk at it... $50 is the new $20 (or is it the new $15 or $10? this inflation in the last 20 years but mostly last 3 is dumb...).

I used it as a flat spot tonight but didn't work on it, it's 4' from the 5L I'm working on, I don't need rust dust in a bare open block...

Can't post pics right now, but I just bought the lower 26 in tool box to match my upper box, as well as a 26 gallon air compressor, bought just to justify the plasma cutter. They are stored at a buddy's house till my weekend tuesday.

Last things I got was a air filter regulator filter deal for the air compressor, got that plumbed in yesterday. Got the $100 Merlin one at Harbor Freight but used a 25% coupon so was cheaper, had to go to Home Depot to get a 1/2" NPT to 1/4' NPT bushing. Still need to make a bracket...

Today I needed crows foot sockets so got some of those at HFT using another 25% off coupon

Pics! i had to build the storage rack to get the space i needed. The cubby under the compressor stores my generator. Still trying to decide if i like this service cart as a welder cart not feeling it though. however I had it so I figured I'd try it out. I don't really need it if I don't find a way to use it, now that I have the 26 inch box. Im realizing I'm kinda unsure what i want for a welding cart, i know i hated the one i had and its in the dump load in the back of my truck. I think this could work better if i had longer leads.

Too cheap here for a fancy StoreBought WorkBench & RollAround ToolBoxes\Carts, so built these from salvaged StorageCabinets, scrap PalletWood & old FurnitureDolly Wheels; ~$50 for Hardware+Paint+CounterLights.
WorkBench top measures 35i50High*169i5Long*19i50Deep with 14i50DeepShelves\Cabinets;
still need to add doors to end cabinets underneath & an ElectricalOutletStrip on the Wall above.
The two RollingCarts each measure 35i50High*24i00Long*19i50Deep with 14i50DeepShelves;
using these to store NewFluids & UsedRecycle for easy reach during routine auto service;
also handy as a portable general WorkTable together back~to~back,
or as SawHorses seperated as needed for cutting longer Lumber\Pipe\Metal\...

got a HF nut rivet gun, yet to try out, and small wire burshes, along w/ few other el-cheapo things while cruising the aisle of new HF store. also scored a brand new dremel with flex shaft and nice aluminum case-gifted to me!
my brother has also been using the shop for his mustang and he restocked all kinds of stuff: pig-mat, wd-40, hand cleaner, zip ties, brake kleen-a whole case and more! its very nice of him, but i think he went to far

If it’s the kind that looks like a pop rivit gun, the retaining C-clips on the gun broke after a couple of uses on the one I had. I bought another but haven’t used it yet. Just something to look out for.

If you got the larger one, I haven’t used one of those yet.

Well, I didn’t buy it and it’s not new, but I didn’t know where else to post this.

When I was hunting for all the extra wheels for my projects a few years ago, it was a pain in the neck to keep measuring stud to stud and figuring out what size rim. So I made this thing up. I also have a male version with the five pins instead of the five holes, and I have one like this that’s 5 x 5 that I only used one time (78 Lincoln).

One of those things, once you have it, you don’t know how you could live without it…

When I was hunting for all the extra wheels for my projects a few years ago, it was a pain in the neck to keep measuring stud to stud and figuring out what size rim. So I made this thing up. I also have a male version with the five pins instead of the five holes, and I have one like this that’s 5 x 5 that I only used one time (78 Lincoln).

One of those things, once you have it, you don’t know how you could live without it…

Here's an updated pic of the drill press, I got everything working, mixed up the belts a little to get it slower since it "looked" too fast, the sticker is too faded but I found a picture of one online that gives the rpm in which setting... the chuck is a 5/8" so might try to keep it, it moves real nice with a little oil and cleanup... little bit of WD40 everything started moving just fine... gotta make a crank for the table height, the gears in that are fine and greased now.

My oil tank thing was getting full so I drug the tank to the front of the sop to empty the smaller one, took the opportunity to change the valve on the bigger tank that was leaking with a brand new one I had "in stock". I wish I had my lift set up so I could take full advantage of that drain tank but it's still nicer than other options...

At the tractor pull grounds over the last couple weekends I found a pair of needle nose pliers that'd been run over and broken so I reinvented them into a pair of "hose stretcher" pliers because why not...
