I wound up with a 5,000 lb off-road one, telehandler was a little Out Of Reach for me as well, and didn't have enough uses for it either. When I picked up is propane, with a jib that clamps on to the fork mounts. Not too bad overall.Love having a forklift at the shop. Wish I had one at the house but there is no pavement, and an off-road telahandler is out of budget. To be fair, a regular forklift is also out of budget for the house as well.
I was sincerely thinking about getting a tracked skid steer instead, but this thing fell into my lap at a price I couldn't walk away from, and none of the skid steers had quite enough vertical reach to work over top of gooseneck trailers
